The Larch is a conifer from the pine family with a height of around 30 – 45 m. Larch trees can reach about 100 – 140 years old. 75% of all larch trees in Switzerland arelocated around 1,400 m above sea level. The medium-hard and resin-rich wood of the native mountain tree is characterized by durability, elasticity and strength. The clearly visible tree rings in the wood make the elevation and the shape of the mountain appear even more real.
During 2 hours the wood is carefully mechanically crafted in a Swiss carpentry, hand-worked, polished and refined. True to the motto “A piece of Switzerland” these models are milled from one piece. The surfaces are oiled for protection. An inserted magnetic chrome steel plate ensures that the magnetic clock holds and can also be removed if necessary. The magnetic clock consists of a high-quality aluminum housing with integrated magnets for optimum grip, a hardened mineral glass and a precise Swiss quartz clock movement with battery. Edition details are engraved on the back of the case. The unique and clear dial completes the watch.
